Medical Laboratory Technology, Advanced Diploma

Medical Laboratory Technology is a nationally accredited two-and-a-half-year advanced diploma program offered at Saskatchewan Polytechnic in Saskatoon. Experienced instructors guide you through a well-rounded curriculum that includes classroom theory, lab work and actual clinical experiences. You’ll learn about:

• clinical chemistry and microbiology

• hematology and hemopathology

• histotechnology and immunology

• laboratory practice

• specimen collection and handling

• transfusion science

Seneca Polytechnic is now offering its first-ever master’s degree with the introduction of the new Master of Artificial Intelligence Design & Development program.

Combining an innovative, industry-focused curriculum with hands-on, work-integrated learning, the program will prepare graduates for high-demand careers.

• Honours Bachelor of 3D Animation and Emerging Technologies

Learn to master the 3D tools driving innovation in film and immersive media.

This four-year honours degree blends traditional artistic principles with advanced 3D modelling/animation techniques—preparing you for opportunities beyond entertainment, including fields like architecture, automotive, medicine and more. You’ll build fundamentals first, then move into specialized areas (e.g., visualization and machine learning), complete a research capstone, and gain real-world experience through a 420-hour internship. You’ll also work with emerging industry technologies such as motion capture, photogrammetry, LIDAR scanning and LED volumes.

Humber Polytechnic offers its first Master’s Degree program.

Humber’s new Master of Engineering in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering begins in Fall 2026. This program is one of the first of its kind to launch under the province’s new approach to advanced, industry-aligned credentials.
